Hiking around the Hotel Kitzhof

Nestled between the Kitzbüheler Horn and the world famous Hahnenkamm, our modern alpine-style hotel is only a five-minute walk from the picturesque centre of Kitzbühel, which makes it the ideal starting point for all hiking friends.

A variety of well-established and signed-posted hiking trails spread out for a distance of over 10000 km. The network of hiking trails begins directly from the hotel. The valley cable car station Hahnenkamm and Kitzbüheler Horn are also reachable on foot. From there you have the possibility to do different tours at all levels of difficulty.

Upon request the hotel shuttle will also take you to the valley cable car station.

Equipped with hiking rucksacks and regional delicacies to snack on, it doesn’t matter whether you decide on an easy hike to the Schwarzsee, or on a more challenging tour to a mountain peak with fantastic panoramic views of the Wilder Kaiser.

Should you have only just discovered your passion for climbing mountains, you can also rent suitable equipment, such a hiking poles and rucksacks on-site, according to availability.

Over the summer months you can be accompanied through the wonderful Kitzbühel mountain landscape by qualified hiking guides from the Kitzbühel Tourist Board. From Monday to Friday they will show you the most beautiful places and viewing points surrounded by gentian, alpine roses and the sound of cow bells.
